Logistics Coordinator

Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS) seeks a Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations Department to help fulfill our vision to be a world leader in out-of-hospital healthcare. This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent compensation and benefits.

This position coordinates various functions under the operations division of the District including (but not limited to): medical and station supply management, facility maintenance coordination, support of fleet maintenance, radios and radio system maintenance, building security system management and other duties as assigned.

Station Supply Management:

  • Inventories, orders and distributes facility supplies to all ambulance response stations.
  • Manages relationships with supply vendors
  • Ensures proper accounting and record keeping on Operative IQ software

Facility Maintenance Coordination:

  • Arranges contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, snow removal and other ongoing services and manages disputes with these service providers where appropriate
  • Serves as the point of contact for all repair and service contractors
  • Support of fleet maintenance:
  • Assists in shuttling vehicles to/from maintenance facilities
  • Assists with troubleshooting vehicle-related problems as reported
  • Assists with maintenance records for fleet and related assets
  • Assists with scheduling of repairs for fleet

Radios and Radio System Maintenance:

  • Maintains inventory for all district-owned radios and radio accessories
  • Processes radio repairs
  • Maintains appropriate distribution of radios throughout stations

Medical Supply Management:

  • Supports medical supplies distribution to all ambulance response stations.
  • Helps to ensure proper accounting and record keeping on Operative IQ software

Other responsibilities:

  • Assists AED coordinator with physical movement of AEDs throughout District
  • Assists Ops Specialist with distribution of non-scheduled medications
  • Assists with CAAS process as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Prior experience working in an EMS system preferred
  • General knowledge and understanding of basic electrical wiring, mechanical systems, HVAC, appliances and plumbing systems.  Must be competent, inventive and ingenious in "handyman"-type repair work
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of automotive and diesel vehicle maintenance
  • Valid State of Colorado motor vehicle operating license with continued safe driving history


  • Non-exempt position at $23.76-$32.40/hour
