Eagle County Paramedic Services (ECPS) seeks Community Paramedic professionals to join our field staff to help fulfill our mission of providing skilled, professional and compassionate healthcare to our community. As a Community Paramedic, you'll make a real difference by connecting underutilized resources to underserved populations. Our Community Paramedic program expands the roles of EMS workers to provide health services where access to physicians, clinics and/or hospitals is difficult or may not exist.

Summary:
Summary: Provide patient care in the home for both short-term and long-term management of referred patients from local healthcare providers, hospital staff and internal referrals from ECPS crews. In addition, respond to 911 mental health crisis calls as part of the ‘crisis response team’ to provide care to patients experiencing a mental health emergency.
Shift Schedule:
- Full-time: 36 hours per week, OT possible; 7 a.m. -7 p.m. shifts
- Med Pool: Two to four 12 hr shifts per month; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. shifts
Compensation:
- Full-time compensation: $40.05 - $47.82/hr; expected annual salary is $74,971.35 - $89, 523.53
- Med Pool Compensation: $38-45/hr
- Additional Possible Merit Rate: 1%-3%
- Additional Possible Bilingual in Spanish Merit Rate: 2%
